Will I need an x-ray of my spine?

Assuming the X-ray is clinically indicated, the purpose of taking an X-ray is to first confirm subluxation degeneration, amongst other things. If confirmed, we need to know how long the problem has existed, and we base our timeline on the severity of the degeneration seen on the X-ray.

Subluxation patterns are graded as phase 1, phase 2, or phase 3 Subluxation Degeneration. The phases do not indicate the severity, but instead show the age of the problem. They tell us approximately how long this problem has been in your body. This baseline will help guide our recommendations of care, confirm the diagnosis, and pinpoint what area of the spine we need to focus our rehabilitation and home care on.
