New Patients at Awaken Chiropractic
We look forward to welcoming you to Awaken Chiropractic. Once you have booked in with us, we will send you our induction video, which will give you a clear idea of what to expect from our care. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable and at home with us before you ever set foot in our practice.
Your First Visit
When you enter the practice, our friendly staff will greet you by name and take you on a brief tour of the office so you know where to find restrooms and refreshments.
Then you’ll meet with your chiropractor, who will take the time to talk with you about your health history and delve into your goals for care. For example, some people are looking for pain relief only, while others are interested in correcting the underlying problem and creating long-term wellness. We want to know what your goals are, so we can devise the appropriate care plan for you.
Next, we’ll do a full examination, including orthopaedic and neurological evaluations as well as assessing the state of your nervous system through CLA INSiGHT™ surface EMG, thermal, and heart rate variability scans. When needed, we will refer out for X-rays. Please plan on 50 minutes for this visit.
Your Second Visit
We schedule your next visit within 2-3 days, depending on when the results of your X-rays are available. At this visit, we will recap your goals for care and go over our complete report of findings.
We focus on education, showing you how to read your own X-rays, so that you understand the underlying cause of what’s causing your symptoms and can be an informed participant in creating change.
